Step outside, log off, and dive into adventure! Unplugged Adventures is an after-school outdoor program where kids leave screens behind and connect with nature through hands-on exploration. Each week, adventurers will kayak peaceful waters, hike scenic trails, search for hidden geocaches, and discover the wild wonders of the natural world. Led by experienced guides and outdoor educators, this program encourages curiosity, confidence, and connection—with nature, with each other, and with themselves.
Whether they’re paddling the Cahaba, navigating a wooded trail, or uncovering a geocache treasure, kids will build real-world skills and make unforgettable memories—all while having serious fun outside. We will explore local treasures like - the Cahaba River, Moss Rock Preserve, Ruffner Mountain, and Oak Mountain State Park just to name a few. Unplug, recharge, and get ready to explore!
