About your trip

Spend your summer days on the water at our Cahaba River Paddling Day Camp, running Monday–Friday from 8:00–3:00! Each day, campers will paddle a different section of the Cahaba River, discovering why it’s considered one of Alabama’s true natural jewels. From winding shoals and peaceful stretches to hidden wildlife and scenic sandbars, every day brings a new adventure and fresh perspective on this incredible river. Along the way, campers will build paddling skills, grow in confidence, and create lasting friendships—all while soaking up the beauty, wonder, and magic of the Cahaba.

We will begin our adventure at Oak Mountain State Park where we will learn and practice our paddling skills on calm and serene Double Oak Lake.
